Planning your WordPress site for successful conversion can be a challenging task given the flexibility built into most WordPress themes and the infinite options available using menus, page templates, plugins, and widgets. Building a WordPress site focused on conversion is a deliberate task that requires strategy and organization throughout the entire creative process, from theme design/selection through final content organization and layout. This presentation is an overview of the design process we use with our clients, guiding them to make strategy based decisions on theme design, use of WordPress Menus, page templates, widgets, and plugins to create customer focused websites that convert into new leads or sales. The goal of this presentation is to walk away with a different thought process about the approach to creating your next WordPress site. With the numerous options available using WordPress, “Just because you can, doesn’t mean you should.”
