pretorious_ericEric Pretorious (@epretorious) of Reno, NV is conducting the hands-on workshop on Sunday, titled Taking Your First Steps, at the 2013 Reno-Tahoe WordCamp. He will walk attendees through the process of downloading, installing and configuring WordPress (along with some essential plugins and free themes). He will then guide you through the process of backing up and restoring your sites quickly and easily.

Eric is the Technical Operations Manager for Rocket-Powered.com.

I was born in the state of Kansas in the United States and grew up in a small town west of Chicago, Illinois. I graduated from the USAF Academy in Colorado and spend 20 years in the US Air Force as a pilot and aeronautical engineer. After retirement I was hired by a major airline and flew internationally for 22 years until reaching the airline pilot mandatory retirement age.
